What gets deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number and AfriPay tag.
- Your profile, saved addresses and favourites.
- Your ability to sign in. The account is deactivated immediately.
What we keep, and why
- Transaction and payout records, in anonymised form, for as long as Nigerian financial and tax regulations require us to retain them.
- Completed booking history belonging to the other party in the transaction, so their own records stay intact.
Before you delete
- Withdraw any remaining wallet balance. Accounts holding a balance cannot be deleted until the funds are paid out.
- Complete or cancel any bookings that are still in progress.
